I didn't see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse until the spring of 2020. The virus was driving me nuts so I jumped into Netflix and decided to witness what the fuss over this cartoon was about. Boy was I blown away. I've seen it between ten to fifteen times at this point. I can now say it's my favorite movie of all time, not just in animation.
It wouldn't be until the spring of 2021 when I discovered a Spider-Verse Reanimated project was attempting to rise on the Internet. Out of curiosity, I joined the project and decided to pick some of my favorite moments from the film to remake. The two scenes were: 1. when Miles enters the classroom and meets Gwen for the first time and 2. when Spider-Man Noir and the others were testing Miles' reflexes out.
I ended up completing the first scene and was hoping to get voice work for the second one done with my friends. Unfortunately, in July of this year, Numbskill (who was the manager) shelved the project due to a lack of both entries and proper communication. It didn't hit me too hard but it was a shame it never got completed.
I'm releasing my completed work on Newgrounds if anyone's curious as to what my work would've been like if the reanimated project had been finished.
Aside from the reanimated scene, I also did a dub of the scene where Miles gets his hand to Gwen's hair, which is hands down my favorite scene in the movie.
